Wireless LAN(KMU WiFi) User Guide

KMU WiFi is an on-campus wireless network service available to all members of Kookmin University without a separate application process.

Before configuring KMU WiFi, ensure that your PC's wireless network adapter is enabled, and that its driver is up to date and functioning properly.

To use KMU WiFi, you must register or reset your dedicated WiFi password.

Important Precautions for Using KMU WiFi

1) Unauthorized private wired/wireless IP routers are restricted, as they cause severe wireless signal interference that degrades smooth KMU WiFi service quality.

2) The WiFi signal strength may weaken due to various factors, such as the performance of your wireless LAN card, building structure and materials, or the use of electronic devices.

3) WiFi access may be restricted if an activity disrupts wireless LAN operations, such as causing a security breach or generating excessive malicious traffic.

     In particular, the user assumes all civil and criminal liability in the event of a security incident, so please use the network with caution.
